Pembroke Corgi and Cardigan Corgi

Both Pembroke and Cardigan Corgis are happiest when they’re with their people. They absolutely love spending time with the family — whether it’s playing with kids, going for a hike, or just being couch potatoes. They’re smart, eager to please, and enjoy learning new things, which makes training fun for both of you.

Pembroke Welsh Corgis are known for their friendly, affectionate nature and their silly, happy-go-lucky personalities. They’re bold and loving, with a compact build and impressive agility. One of their signature traits is their lack of a tail — most Pembrokes in the U.S. are born without one or have it docked, which adds to their charming look.

Cardigan Welsh Corgis have a more laid-back vibe. They’re a fun mix of serious and silly — adventurous but also independent. While they’re not quite as energetic as Pembrokes, they still enjoy long walks and exploring, but they’re just as content to hang out and relax. Cardigans are super adaptable, happy to travel or stay home, and they sport long tails and come in a variety of unique coat colors.
